Compliance with Section 6(h) of the EPA Toxic Substances Control Act
On January 6, 2021, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) issued rules under the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) (as amended by the Frank Lautenberg Chemical Safety for the 21st Century Act) to reduce exposure to the persistent, bioaccumulative, and toxic (PBT) chemicals listed below.
These PBT chemicals are a class of chemicals that resist degradation and persist in the environment. As a result, when these chemicals are consumed, they accumulate in the bones, fatty tissues and brains of living organisms. The EPA has banned their production (including importation), processing and commercial distribution.
Willight guarantees that the automotive led lights and accessories parts we manufacture and sell do not contain any of the following PBT chemicals in strict compliance with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Toxic Substances Control Act
